Loan Repayment Assistance (LRAP).
Law-school debt pushes talented graduates away from public-interest careers. LRAP helps legal aid attorneys manage that debt so they can stay in the work.
Keeping attorneys in public service
Legal aid salaries are modest and law-school debt is not. Without help, many attorneys who want to serve simply can't afford to. The Loan Repayment Assistance Program provides support toward qualifying law-school loans for attorneys working in Ohio civil legal aid — a retention tool that keeps experienced advocates in the field.
